Arlington: Galletta

Site Details

Chesapeake Energy Corporation's Galletta padsite is located at the southwest corner of South Collins Street and East Arkansas Lane. The site has the potential to develop approximately 800 acres of minerals from two well units: Galletta and Blackwell. To date, two wells have been drilled on this site.

Current Status & Activity

  • 11/2011 - Completed hydraulic fracturing operations on the Blackwell 1H and Galletta 1H wells
  • 09/2011 - Completed drilling the Blackwell 1H
  • 05/2011 - Completed drilling the Galletta 1H
  • 10/2010 - Arlington City Council approved SUP application
  • 08/2010 - Chesapeake was granted SUP from the Arlington P&Z Commission
