What to Expect

The Palos Verdes padsite is located at the northeast corner of South Cooper and Green Oaks. To date, one well has been drilled on the Palos Verdes padsite. Chesapeake anticipates drilling the Palos Verdes-Smith 1H and the Palos Verdes-Stephens 1H consecutively beginning in September July 2010.

A total of 10 wells are proposed for this site.

Development Plan

The Palos Verdes drillsite can potentially produce the minerals of hundreds of lessors in the area. Chesapeake is working closely with the City of Arlington to ensure drilling operations are as safe and unobtrusive as possible. State-of-the-art sound mitigation techniques are implemented to reduce the sound emitted by drilling activities. Directional lighting is being used on-site to keep safety lights away from nearby residences, while maintaining the safety of rig workers, as drilling is a 24/7 operation.
