Great news for the City of Cleburne. Chesapeake now has 144 wells producing natural gas for 6,800 mineral owners in the city. Through 2010, Chesapeake, one of the top-five largest taxpayers in Cleburne, paid $33 million in royalties to the City of Cleburne and $129 million to Cleburne royalty owners.
