Crowley: Crowley Eagles

What to Expect

The Crowley Eagles padsite is located less than a quarter mile north of FM 1187 and between S. Hampton Road and South Crowley Road. To date, three wells have been drilled on the Crowley Eagles padsite.

The Crowley Eagles 2H and 3H are expected to begin drilling consecutively in December 2010.

Check this site again soon for updates.

Development Plan

Chesapeake is working closely with the City of Crowley to ensure drilling activities are as unobtrusive as possible. Chesapeake  uses state-of-the-art sound mitigation techniques to ensure compliance with local ordinances. Additionally, directional lighting will be employed on the site as drilling is a 24/7 operation. Directional lighting allows us to aim safety lights away from nearby residents, yet allow light for rig workers at night.

Current Status & Activity

  • 12/2010 - Anticipated date to begin drilling Crowley Eagles 2H and 3H
