Crowley: Jammer

What to Expect

Chesapeake Energy Corporation's Jammer padsite is located at 828 Business 1187, near the intersection of Main and Thompson in Crowley. To date, eight wells have been drilled on the site.

Hydraulic fracturing operations are scheduled to begin on the Jammer A 3H, Jammer A 4H, Jammer A 6H, Jammer A 7H, and Jammer A 8H wells in February 2012. Completion operations will be conducted during daylight hours and will take about five to six days per well. More details about this process can be found by visiting HydraulicFracturing.com.

This site has the potential to generate up to $19.3 million in royalties for area mineral owners and $8.5 million in state and local tax revenue. We would like to ensure you that we conduct our operations with the utmost regard for safety, neighbor sensitivity and the environment.

Development Plan

Chesapeake is working closely with the City of Crowley to ensure drilling activities are as unobtrusive as possible. Chesapeake uses state-of-the-art sound mitigation techniques to ensure compliance with local ordinances. Additionally, directional lighting will be employed on the site as drilling is a 24/7 operation. Directional lighting allows us to aim safety lights away from nearby residents, yet allow light for rig workers at night.
