Fort Worth: Ederville

What to Expect

The Ederville drillsite is located at 6990 Ederville Road. In June 2010, the Fort Worth City Council approved a padsite permit for the Ederville site. To date, one well has been drilled and the masonry wall has been installed.

In mid-2012, Chesapeake is scheduled to begin drilling operations on the Canucks 1H well.

Development Plan

The development of Ederville site could generate up to $12.5 million in royalty payments to your community, nearly $5 million in local and state tax revenue, and more than $14 million to the local workforce and businesses. Chesapeake is working closely with the City of Fort Worth to ensure drilling operations are as safe and unobtrusive as possible.
