What to Expect
The Foil and Epee padsites are located on 37 acres of Chesapeake-owned property, on West Cleburne Road, just east of South Hulen Street. The Foil and Epee drillsites are located on a common padsite with the Sabre site. These drillsites will not develop the same neighborhoods as the Sabre drillsite.
The Foil 1H, 2H and Epee 1H are anticipated to be begin drilling consecutively in December 2010.
Check for updates on this site soon.
Site Details
Chesapeake is working closely with the City of Fort Worth to ensure drilling operations are as safe and unobtrusive as possible. State-of-the-art sound mitigation techniques are implemented at this site to reduce the sound emitted by drilling and production activities. Directional lighting is being used on-site to keep safety lights away from nearby residences, while maintaining the safety of rig workers, as drilling is a 24/7 operation. Â
