Chesapeake’s involvement in the North Richland Hills community has been beneficial for both the city and residents alike. Millions of dollars in royalties and lease bonuses have been paid to residents in NRH since natural gas production began. Â
In addition, Chesapeake was able to donate over $43,000 to local charities and community organizations in 2011, including the Birdville ISD Education Foundation, the Grace Meadows Homeowners Association and Love Never Fails International. These donations helped fund local projects that directly benefit the residents of NRH. Chesapeake has also been an active member of the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce, winning the Industry of the Year award in 2011.
